The strata council issued a clarification this week regarding the existing pet bylaw. The 22 kg dog weight limit applies to the dogs adult weight, not its weight at the time of move-in.
Owners with growing puppies are asked to confirm with the breeder or vet that the projected adult weight will fall under the limit before bringing the dog into the building.
This is not a change to the bylaw itself, just a written clarification of how it has always been enforced.
